Even if it is a bit late, I still love it!
My Chromebook is working well and up to this writing task. Even if I am still missing my flash drive, I still have everything on my 'My Drive' google file. And while a huge chunk of things are getting rewritten, it is staying true (mostly) to my last edits (with exception of Rebekah who has undergone some huge transformations to make her less whiney and Mary Sueish/ Disney Princessish, and finally bring her down to earth).
I feel as though I have finally found my writing style and things are cooking well (10,200+ words and counting). Oh, and the characters! The characters! As I write the scene, I can see them in my head, acting out each motion (Caspian has gotten very surely, btw) as the words form on the page. Even before it is written.
I am a fifth done now and long to do character art of how much my characters have changed.
I am looking forward to finishing this story and sending it off to begin the process of being published.
Best of luck to all you writers!

The years since I was last on here have just gone by like a wink. So much in my life has changed- the deaths of some good friends, the loss of others, a change of heart, and a broken engagement. 30 years old, and I still feel overwhelmed that here I am, in a place I would have never imagined.
Yet, I am happy about most of the changes that life has been throwing at me. Most of the changes were needed. My relationship with my ex was toxic and dragging me down. Some of my friendships we're very onesided and were draining on me as well. And now, I feel a bit overwhelmed, yet I feel as though the universe itself is opening up to me, showing me al
Good News, Everyone!
My oldest sister works for an art museum in my old home town and gave me the invitation to sell my bracelets and beaded items at the Christmas Stroll. I am so excited!
Lately, I have been learning new beading techniques like weaving and lacing. I have also got some new patterns for making snow flakes and beaded ornaments too that I am excited to get to work on. I really am enjoying beading and expanding my skill set. Plus, it also gives me something fun to do in my hotel room when I am not working blood drives.
And next month is NaNo WriMo. I am trying to convince myself to participate, but I am just not feeling it this year. The inspiratio

Lately I have been doing some thinking as to how I could earn some extra income. My job is not flexible enough to allow for a second job (business commandment #1- Employees shall have no other jobs before me) and I love what I do too much to try to seek other employment else where.
And then, it came to me. I can use my artistic talents to make money!
So, on Wednesday, I am meeting up with my friend, Ash, to learn about beading and jewelry making. Dwight has ordered me a lot of beautiful beads as well as a book or two to help get me started as well.
I will also be purchasing the 2017 Writers Market to start submitting stories and poems to c
The Writers Corner
A Happy Septemeber and impending fall to all!
In January, I started my own writing group. At first there were just two of us. We would gossip and look at books. But my little group is growing! There are now four of us- A reader, a writer, soon to have her first book published, a poet, and myself- an aspiring novelist and book lover. And now, things are starting to take shape. We are starting to focus more on our writing process as well as encouraging each other on. Our writer, Ash, is starting a blog where three of us discuss our writing.
And now we are entering competitions.
I usually don't write short stories, but now, I am starti
